The Tax Institute Senior Tax Counsel, Bob Deutsch, joined the hosts of the Tax Talks podcast to review the COVID-19 stimulus packages currently in play, and to discuss the JobKeeper payment scheme in more detail.
Bob talks about how helping business and individuals goes hand in hand, as stimulus measures help keep employees engaged, and employers in business.
“Between them, the cash boost and the JobKeeper payment should enable… in my estimate, about 70%-80% of affected business to continue and survive throughout this lockdown period, this so-called hibernation period.”
